It may be new but it’s already creating a buzz around the metro and the whole country. In the July 17 issue of The Philippine Star, Aubergine Restaurant and Patisserie was listed as one of the “Top Ten International Restaurants” in the Philippines. Aubergine boast a show kitchen, a great wine bar and excellent pastry, of course. But you’ll come back for classic favorites like seared duck foie gras, Russian Osetra caviar, or to try surprising items like the duck consommé (served with a foie gras ravioli at center) or Chilean sea bass on pumpkin Mousseline. Pricey but worth the experience.”
Here’s a rundown of the country’s frontrunners in the international cuisine:

Best Spanish – Casa Armas
Best Thai – Thai at Silk
Best American – Burgoo
